About us

image26

We are a growing group of Veterans who ride! We have many members with disabilities and support riders who all enjoy the physical challenge of riding! We support each other on the bike and off the bike. We always stop at a local coffee shop for coffee and snacks. The shops and routes change with each ride, but the good times don't!

Come join us!

We only do "NO DROP" rides! Nobody gets left behind! We hope you join us for good conversation, coffee and rides!

Thank you!

We would like to send a Big Thank you to the Ft. Huachuca Community Thrift Shop for their very generous donation!

MISSION

VeloVets Sierra Vista (VVSV) is a 501c3  non-profit and a 509a2 Public Charity EIN# 83-4533105 designed to support the needs of U.S. Military Veterans in the Sierra Vista Arizona area.  What VeloVets Sierra Vista is:  cyclists, volunteers and supporters enriching the lives of Military Veterans in our community by sharing the physical and mental benefits of cycling, having fun and building camaraderie.

VeloVets Sierra Vista serves Eight Disabled Veterans, supported by 23 Veteran and Non-Veteran riders.  Rides are scheduled every week throughout the year on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Disabled Riders leverage Recumbent Trikes, Hand-cycles and Tandems and bikes – all custom engineered to accommodate their strengths – to accomplish the unthinkable – mobility, strength, fun and a brighter future.

BOTTOM LINE:  VeloVets Sierra Vista serves Veterans.  Your donation would be the key reason these disabled veteran athletes will gain the freedom and camaraderie they need to dramatically improve their physical and mental well-being.  Please send donations to VeloVets Sierra Vista, P.O.Box 1942, Sierra Vista, AZ  85636

Thanks!!
